Yep, they sure can.

The services can reclass anyone they want to at any time to balance the career fields.

Of course, since you didn't list your old or new mos, no one can tell you what the chances of that happening are.

The army owns you as a soldier, they can make you reclass or change back to your old MOS because the mission comes first. What ever the mission calls for, they will do anything and everything possible to meet the mission requirements, if that means reclassing you or changing your MOS, they will do it.

No they can't but they can & do offer insentives to change or stay. The marines are the only ones that have it where they can call back retired or former soldiers up to 7 years after they left. I was military police & let that way a friend was Air Force security & offered $40k to change to army, extend his contract & retrain which he did especially since the air force at the time was downsizing since it was to big for the "new age".

The Army can pretty much do what ever they want with you.

Look at the contract that you signed. In the small print it says the army can put you in positions that best serve the army.

The army can make you do anything. You sold your sole to them for a few dollars and maybe a scholarship.

Also if your new MOS becomes over "populated" they can force you to change.
