No matter what brand of coffee I use, when I want to make ice coffee, I double the amount of coffee grounds I use. Pour the hot coffee over a mug full of ice.

Iced Coffee:

I love coffee.

3¼ hours 10 min prep
6-8 servings

6-8 cups strong coffee
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

1. Combine brewed coffee and sweetened condensed milk in a large pitcher.
2. Refrigerate until chilled.
3. Serve over ice.
4. TIP- Use leftover coffee to make coffee ice cubes with.
5. Then you have the chill without getting watered down.

The best coffee is not to let the coffee sit for too long, it gets sour and acidic and affects the taste. But try this...

[1] Heat some cream/milk lightly (do not boil) and froth it.
[2] Make good strong coffee from freshly grounded beans, or pwdered coffee with lesser water so its strong.
[3] Whisk some vanilla extract or powder (or any other flavour extract) into the coffee.
[4] Pour the cream over ice and pour coffee mixture over.
[5] Top with some froth. Sprinkle some cocoa powder.

*tips: Make sure your ices are freshly made that day and are not stored in your fridge for days already.

try this recipe - it makes a hell of an iced coffee :

mix 4 scoops ground coffee and cool water in a 8 cup plunger. chill overnight (10-12 hours). use plunger to plunge coffee (to remove coffee grinds), then. add 6 tsp of sugar and 1/2 tsp of vanilla. then with the mixture - mix 1/4 coffee mixture to 3/4 milk.

this recipe works with flavoured and non-flavoured ground coffee beans.

good luck and let me know what you think!

Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino®

6 cups double-strength freshly brewed dark roast coffee
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, plus additional cocoa powder for garnish
2 cups nonfat milk

Fill ice-cube trays with half of the brewed coffee and place in the freezer. In a bowl, combine the remaining brewed coffee, cocoa powder and milk and stir to dissolve the cocoa. Cover and chill.

When the ice cubes have frozen, transfer them to a kitchen towel and, using a hammer or mallet, crush the cubes. Fill 4 glasses with the crushed ice and divide the coffee-cocoa mixture evenly among them. Dust the top with cocoa powder and serve. Serves 4.
