Think about teachers...

When I taught in public school ( I now teach at a psych hospital for kids) I taught Kindergarten. I had an AM and PM class each with about 30 kids... so 60 kids a year for 3 years. That's 180 kids...

Now I am only in my 7Th year of teaching... think about people who have been teaching for 30 years...

that is a lot of change in the world...

Wait a minute, I didn't say anything. Ha, ha. Well I see it like this, When I first started becoming aware of the truth of things my ego would tell me I was going insane. Today I would not ever go back to the way I was. What I use to think of as normal {the way I was} is truly insane. I just want to do what I can so others can see the truth of themselves. I can not see living life any other way. However I can only point the way. After all I can not give them something they all ready have. Thanks for the great question.

I try to visit this site every day:

http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/clickToGive/home.faces?siteId=3

"Each click on the purple "Fund Food for Animals" button at The Animal Rescue Site provides food and care for a rescued animal living in a shelter or sanctuary. Funding for food and care is paid by site sponsors and distributed to animals in need at the Fund for Animals' renowned animal sanctuaries (including Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch in Texas and the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in California), pet shelters supported by the Petfinder Foundation, North Shore Animal League, and other worthy animal care facilities supported by the GreaterGood.org foundation."

There are other links at the top of the page that also offer "click to" opportunities.

It's a simple, free way to make a concrete difference, and on days when I'm feeling particularly miserable it gives me a little bit of hope to think that I have done something positive for someone, somewhere -- even if it's only a cat or dog languishing in a cage.

Every living human being has changed the world. Every person has a purpose in this life. No one is incidental. The world would not be the same without you or me.

We're all called to excel in whatever our vocation is. Whatever you do, do it the best way you can.

How can anyone not make a difference? We are created in the image and likeness of God!!!!!!!

A single person can mean the world to another person. As illogical as it sounds, the needs of the few out weigh the needs of the many.

That, and the only thing that has ever changed the world is a small group of dedicated people.

It depends on how willing that person is to go out of their comfort zones and become all that they can be.

You can make a big difference in some lives and a small one in others but you make a difference for sure

It only takes one to change the experience, as ones experience is a reflection of them self.

No time can be wasted, as time is only part of an illusion.

Nothing takes place outside of the present.

Whatever appeared to happen in the imaginary past, happened in the present. Whenever the future arrives it will be the present.

If you mean difference to humanity probably very little. But you can make a great deal of difference to your family friends and loved ones. If you expect more out of life than that sorry that's all there is.

We are one drop in the ocean of humanity but every action of ours including our attitudes, the way we live our lives and the effort we put into positive or negative things affects everyone that we come in contact with. One drop in the ocean may seem tiny but one simple action of yours could save or ruin someone's life and everyone who is connected to them. We steer our way through life according to what is in our hearts. People who don't think they have any affect on others don't consider their actions (selfishness) and essentially believe that they are not important (low self-esteem). People who know that we are all equal and that we can all change the world - DO.

What kind of difference can one person make? Ask Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, Socrates, Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Caesar Augustus, Sacagawea, John Paul Jones, or any other person you learn about in history class.

We learn about historical individuals precisely *because* of their singular contributions to the world. Anyone can make a difference.
