Goto www.gamepod .com and check out the wood and metal AK, Robert. Cool cool cool. Looks like a winner. Right Manufacturer, Right materials, Looks awesome. Better than some real AK's I've seen, honestly. This might be the right track. These look durable to me. You keep lookin', I'll keep lookin', We'll figure it out eventually.

i know tokyo marui makes an ak with real real nice simulated wood and a steel body. same with utg (smae gun but cheaper) i haven't seen a real wood one in a while.
