You need a maid of honor, a flower girl and a ring bearer. I think that the husband has the best man and then ushers. I think that we should be able to have a best man if we wanted to. I have more guy friends than girls, so when I get married I'd like to have a best man too...LOL.

You get a maid of honor. It's very similar.
Check out some of the wedding sites and maybe even a wedding magazine. Don't worry. Just make sure that it is the best it can be for YOU. Many people love to interfere in a wedding. And everyone forgets that it is all about YOU, not anyone else. Just enjoy! And congratulations.

Well you got your bridesmaids so that is a good start. Did you pick a maid of honor yet? That is one of the bridesmaids that is really close to you. You will need to pick out your colors that you want. You will need to find out if you want real flowers or fake. I did my own for my wedding in september and it is kinda nice because i get to keep my bouquet for memories. You will need a wedding cake, dj, find out if you are having a meal or not and if you want it catered or do it yourself. Wedding dress of course and tuxes for the men. Centerpieces for your tables which there are lots of websites to help you decide. You will need a flower girl, ring bearer, flower girl basket, ring pillow, oh man there is a lot of stuff but just make a checklist and definately start planning now if you are getting married this year. That way you can pick out your cake etc and then you know that you will definately get everything in advance. By the way, congratulations and good luck to you and your future husband. I hope your wedding day turns out fabulous.

Did you look for the place, the date time? Who are you inviting? What are the colors? Who's the ringboy, the flowergirl? Are you even having a flower girl? Are you even having a dress? People have all types of different weddings! The ideas for your wedding are limitless....but here's some extra help that I found.....http://www.weddinghowto.com/

WELL IT DEPEND IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A BIG OR SMALL WEDDING AND CHURCH OR NO CHURCH AND YOUR BUDGET. IF YOU DONT MIND SPENDING ALOT OF MONEY ON A WEDDING HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER.
IF NOT YOU WILL NEED TO DO THE FOLLOWING
1. FIGURE OUT WHAT MONTH AND DATE YOU WANT TO BE MARRIED.

2. BOOK THE CHURCH OR PLACE YOU WILL BE GETTING MARRIED

3. RECEPTION SITE NEEDS TO BE BOOKED AS WELL

4. LOOK FOR DECORATIONS SUCH AS CENTER PIECES FLOWERS TABLE COVERS CHAIR COVERS WEDDING FAVORS ECT.

5. THE FOOD, DRINKS AND THE CAKE

Hopefully your future hubby is the best man, and after the marriage you get to keep him and take him home. What I do with most questions I have these days, www.google.com search on wedding protocols. And of course there are no set rules today, talk with your future hubby and work out how you want things to go, what do you each want to happen at your wedding.

Go to theknot.com or get a wedding planning book from your local bookstore. This should help you with the traditional standards, then you can pick and choose what you want to tailor to your needs.

Traditionally the bride has bridesmaids and the groom has groomsman. The bride will pick a "maid of honer" out of her bridesmaids and the groom will pick a "best man" out of his groomsmen. I also recommend theknot.com, they have a lot of useful stuff.
Congratulations!

My suggestion is to go out and by a book on weddings, there are plenty out there that will tell you step by step what you should be doing and when you should be doing it. They are called wedding planners and can answer any question you have.
