I guess I'm one of the lucky ones I have vista home premium, and I haven't had any problems with it. Then again I did my homework, and made sure my computer was ready for it.

I love it.

As you're reading your other answers I hope you take the ones from the Mac loonies with a grain of salt. If a Mac was such a great computer apple would have more than 9% of the market.

Again I suggest you do your homework and make sure your computer is up to running vista before you invest the money. You may find that you would be better off upgrading to a new system that has vista preinstalled.

Good luck
E.

I Use both PC's and Macs and Vista is about as exciting as the first Mac OS9. Only difference is Vista is loaded with Bugs, Security Issues, Compatibility Problems and the interface is a total Mac OSX rip off, but implicated by a blind man.

For all the hype, Microsoft missed it's target big time.
I like XP Pro much better.

Ultimate is the best version of windows vista, but not any more interesting than Home.

which ever you go with you need to up grade your memory
the vista basic needs at least 450 Mb of memory just to boot up the premium and ultimate you must have at least 1024 to barely get a decent performance
