With all those disappering and suddenly appearing act going on during the peak hours, whom shall we blame. I firmly believe that since the cab drivers have to pay so much for the taxi company in order to maintain a decent living, he or she should choose customers.
1. Pay daily rental of the cab and did not own it at the end.
2. Fuel tax
3. Car park charges
4. Summons issue for paking without ticket for relieving themselves or taking a break.
5. Is there any Medical benefits?
6. Is there any CPF?
7. Is there any Holidays?

Neither to be blame. Previously when there was only 2 Taxi companies, this problem was not there. But since the Government open up for more Taix companies to operate in a tiny market (Singapore), more problems were surfaced. As the demand is so much lower than the supply, the earning for Taxi driver drop for the past few years. But rental, tax, GST, everything is still going up, thus we can't really blame them. Their earning drop, the service quality also drop. Who to blame? Maybe should blame Singapore too small for so many Taxi companies.

I really don't know who is to be blame. both parties may have to shoulder some of the blame. Every companies/boies is always interested in making money. So if there is a surcharge during the peak hours, most drivers will definitely "disappear" and appear once the peak hours surcharges apply. In any case who is the biggest loser? the passenger.
