Some of you may know my story from my previous question to sum things up for those of you that dont. I was engaged not so long ago I have a daughter from a previous marriage and am pregnant with my second. My "ex" broke up with me saying he became "unhappy" Well he calls EVERYDAY mostly for no reason and when its time to hang up we both hesitate I know I hesitate because stupid me I'm still in love with him but why does he hesitate? Just a little bit ago he called several times he's excuse for not hanging up was because he doesnt want to he said that when he becomes unhappy he changes and it wasnt my fault i did nothing wrong and that a few years from now or when the baby comes or who knows when we might be back together " you never know what the future brings" He keeps calling me babe ( i dont know if its on purpose or not. then he called back and first he asked if I would give him my baby after he realized that upset me he apologized and said we needed to talk about the baby more....

Anyways what does this mean. I know I should let him go but I still love him. is he acting like this because he got scared and he's having doubts. i'm confused and I dont want to give up the only person I've ever been happy with if there's a chance we could work it out. What do you guys think? Why does he call me everyday ( besides because I'm pregnant with his baby) if he wants to be a part of the baby's life is there a chance that once the baby is born he'll come around? Basically he was a chicken **** but how do I deal with this? Only serious answers please this is hard enough for me and I get enough hell from people about this situation. Thanks for your help

it looks like he wants to get back together, or maybe he just wants to be a part of the baby's life.

sounds like he's messed up if he wants u to just give him ur baby i dont get where he's coming from with that
