It really doesn't matter which you learn first, it is a general rule, that once you learn to play an instrument, it helps make it easier to pick up another instrument. I play violin, viola, piano, cello, guitar, a little flute, recorder and sight sing.

Violin and guitar aren't really very similar at all, aside from the fact that they both have strings. If you can read music, that would be somewhat helpful in learning guitar, but violin and guitar are tuned very differently, and use completely different right hand playing techniques -- violin is played with a bow, classical guitar is picked with the thumb and fingers of the right hand. Classical guitar is NOT played as part of an orchestra, and has a completely different sound tha a violin. So substituting it for a violin will not work. Besides which, I think your music teacher would have something to say about you wanting to play guitar as part of the orchestra!

what is your def of easier?
Yes
Because you already know how to read music.
You have to have a great ear to play the V.
The fingering will be different, but that shouldn't be a problem.
You might also find it easier than the V., because of the frets.(and no bow to deal with)
I'd say go for it.
The mandolin is tuned the same as a V. and it has frets, so you will find that you can already play it once you get used to the new way of holding the instrument.

I don't think the guitar and violin transfer much since they are played in two different ways (strumming vs bowing). Obviously you could learn the bass guitar.
A clarinet can be switched between flute, saxophone, and oboe and all vice versa.

Not especially. A closer match for a violinist would be viol, cello, etc. Perhaps a fretless stand-up bass might be a decent match for a violinist.
Good matches: guitar and bass/ukelele/banjo/lute/mandolin, trumpet and French horn, clarinet and saxophone, piano and organ, flute and piccolo.

Bass would be easy if you know guitar.

And I dont think violin goes with guitar.

Violin/viola is a good combination, or violin/piano.
