BRAT diet--Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast.

And stick with clear liquids. NO MILK. Here's a homemade pedialyte recipe for you:
List of Ingredients

1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 1/2 Tbsp. sugar

* Optional:
1/2 pack any flavor Kool Aid (no sugar added) or to taste
1/4 tsp. salt substitue (for potassium- sold as NuSalt)

Recipe

Heat up a small amount of the water and dissolve all other ingredients in it.
Add remaining water and stir well. Keep in refridgerator.

No Milk. The Brat Diet is the way to go. Only feed him Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast.

Hope he feels better soon. SD

Breastmilk is the optimum food for toddlers when they are sick.

Failing that if they are dehydrated offer a rehydration solution, you can find recipes online. Diluted cereal is an easy one.

Other than that I believe you should feed what the body wants. The body knows.

Some pedialyte would help him. It has lots of electrolytes a body needs. Also food that you would eat when you are sick like chicken noodle soup. The key to any sickness is trying to keep down liquids or take in as much as your toddler will take.

My sister purely had a abdomen virus and that they positioned her on a liquid weight loss application for a pair of days. Granted she is 15 years previous, yet they advised her to consume jello and after an afternoon of basically drinks she could have yogurt. Then day after today dry toast. it somewhat is what the same old practitioner on the wellbeing facility reported for her. good success!

I agree with the first Brat Bananas rice applesauce and toast. My daughter had a bug that lasted almost a month and these were the only food she could eat without them making her worse.

I would try jello or popsicles. They both are easy on the stomach. Popsicles are good. They will keep the little one hydrated. Good luck. Hope he/she gets better. As for milk, not a good idea.
