A guy, who is kinda nerdy and shy, but who is pretty nice, turned around in class and told me, "You look nice today." This is a stupid question, but me being paranoid I'm wondering if there was anything in particular behind it. Was it just a plain statement or was he saying it to mean more?

he probable does like you. if he pays you a compliment, he must be noticing you

Look at his body language. Did he smile? Well, I'm paranoid about this stuff too, so don't worry.

i think if he said you look nice today...... he probably likes you and is shy but trying hard to compliment you. maybe start talking to him more.... if he turns red, wink* wink*

Do you like him? Because that can play into your perception of things too. I’d say he could like you.
