It hurts when I touch it and it's hard. The bump is about the size of a tear drop. I don't think it is a zit.

sounds like a cyst. nothing to worry about.

its maybe a pimple not a pimple that grow out and gets puss,but this pimple grows in the inside and eats up your skin and if you dont do nothing about it will keep growing,you could have some one check it out and if they see a little dot in the middle they can try and poke a needle and open it and try to squeeze it hard ,it hurts but its the only solution,but before doing all that put some derman fungus ointment it helps a lot.

It might be an ingrown hair or a swollen lymph node. In the latter case, that means you have an infection somewhere. I'd go to your doc soon just to make sure. Take care.

I had something similar to this. Over the years it got bigger and more annoying.I went to a surgeon and he removed it. It was a cyst.

It could be a thousand and one things.... from something very simple like a cyst to something very serious like swollen lymph nodes as a result of something serious. You NEED to go see a dermatologist right away. Please.
