A "hummer" is common nickname for oral sex performed on a man.
Or they could have meant ANYTHING sexual enough that you only do it in behind closed doors.
The least likely case is that they were talking about something bathroom-specific.
Also, if it was done in private, there's a great chance they don't really know as much as they think they do, let alone as they're claiming to.
