The place I got a tetanus shot still hurts sometimes. I got the injection mid July, and at times the area hurts. Kinda pain with hurting. Is there something wrong?

That shot goes into the muscle. It sounds like you might have a little knot of scar tissue there. Eventually, it will go completely away.

I don't think it would be from the tetanus shot. But if there is a tiny bit of scar tissue, try putting warm compresses on it in the evening and massaging the area. Is it on your dominant arm? Maybe you're doing something to strain it once in awhile.

tetanus shots are done in the deltoid muscle and if they are done wrong or with the wrong size needle you may had your bone scraped or if they did it in the wrong place they may have hit a nerve which may cause pain in the future but the pain should go away eventually
