i got on the depo shot and now i feel sick

Why would you take the shot if your tubes are tied? That is ridiculous.

Yes, you can take the shot even if your tubes are tied.
Why did you decide to go on it? If the reason was related to menopause or high hormonal levels, then it could make you feel sick. It is one side affect

Why would you take the depo shot if your tubes were already tide? That makes no sense!

Birth control isn't necessary with a tubal ligation. Go on oral contraceptives if you have difficult periods...the depo shot is too strong of a hormone dosage for a lot of women.

I would think so but it's kind of unnecessary isn't it?
If it's just somehow for hormone reasons, then they shouldn;t interfere with each other as typing the fallopian tubes doesn't interfere with hormone production.
Sometimes teh hormone stuff is just too much for some of us. I can not take teh pill unless it is the absolute lowest amoutn available or I get desperately ill.

why in the world did you get the depo shot? All it will do is screw up your periods and make you gain weight.

why would u do that the depro is to fool ur body to make it think that u are already expecting so ur eggs will not meet and mate but if ur tubes are tided why take a double dose of another medication why do that to ur self u may need to call ur doctor and tell him are her how u are feeling and why...Good Luck

why would you want to? the whole reason to get your tubes tied is to not have to take any other form of birth control again. and it probably would make you sick since your hormones are not normal since your tubes are tied.

If you had a tubal ligation you don't need to take depo.....
unless you're using it to regulate you menstrual cycle....

You can if you are using it to regulate your cycle but it might be a bit much for your body if it is making you sick.
