I just love this part:

Rights groups and academics say the rising border violence underscores the need for a U.S. guest worker program ...........

Oh I see. If we don't let them cross illegally they will attack us. Therefore we must let them in. Why would we NEED this type of person here? If they don't get their way they go postal?
I think the rising violence along the border underscores the need for Marine snipers along the border. First one that takes a "pot shot" at US law enforcement gets dropped in his tracks.

This is great too:

"The continued demand for immigrant workers and narcotics in the United States means that stronger border security isn't the solution. As a stand-alone policy, it will only increase the violence," said Jose Maria Ramos, a security expert at the Tijuana-based research institute Colegio de la Frontera Norte.

What demand for(ILLEGAL) immigrant workers? and once again they will get violent? Oh please. Once we throw Johnny Sutton in jail , make him some illegals girlfriend, and allow the BP to SHOOT BACK the violence will cease.
A security expert from Tijuana? Since when are THEY experts?

There is something really odd going on with the Southern border. My own research (limited though it may be) leads me to believe that a lot is going on that is not being discussed. There are millions of indigenous people in Mexico. They are not of Spanish origin. They have been discriminated against for many years. There is some kind of fear in the Mexican government of these people and they have been exporting them to America to ease the pressure. Next, there are powerful drug cartels that are more powerful than the government. Finally, there is a radical movement to reclaim the land of Texas, New Mexico and Southern California gaining popular support in Mexico, too. If any sort of civil unrest breaks out the government of Mexico fears total Civil War. We would then end up with some sort of socialist nation on our southern border akin to Venezuela or Cuba. Russia or China would step in with support for them, too.

That, in my opinion, is why our government is pussyfooting around and proping up the Mexican Government. I feel sorry for the Border Patrol that are being squeezed in between.

what is going to Mexico's government do in return? it form of feels to me that the final time I examine a form of whining links from Mexico, it became into the drug and illegals smugglers who began the subject concerns of attacking our border brokers. seems the united statesis "interfering" with the drug and human smugglers income and corporation. And what is going to Mexico's government do approximately their militia smuggling illegals and medicines for the time of our border? and would I additionally factor out, what is going to Mexico's goverment do with regard to the Gangs illegally crossing our border? What makes human lives around the southern border any further or much less substantial then the human lives north of the border? until Mexico's government gets off it rather is bum, investigates and confirm those subject concerns - i'd would desire to keep asserting that the united statesborder patrol is justified in it rather is reaction to the persisted assaults on them. i became into taught that became into seen self-protection if attacked first. this is after-all U.S. accountability to guard, and shelter our very own borders in accordance to former Mexican President Fox, and Mexico's present day President Calderon.

It is appalling that the border agents are placed in such danger without the authorization to defend themselves properly. I agree with DAR here. We can not let Mexico and the illegals and their supporters intimidate us into allowing them to come on in the way they have been. This is only all the more proof that we need to batten down the hatches and not cave in to their intimidation.
