This boy likes me, but I don't think I like him that much. I have wanted a real boyfriend for a while, but I think I only like the "idea" of a boyfriend, but I don't actually like the boy. I am so confused because he is really nice and funny, but I can only see us becoming really good friends. Sometimes, I like him, but sometimes I don't and I can't stop thinking about him and he makes me happy when I see him at school. This is so confusing, has anyone ever been in this situation?

Ask yourself, would you date him if you had a better guy? if the answer is no you do not like him.

oh honey i have been in this situation so many times before. as a matter of fact i am in the same situation now. but i have a boyfriend and he isnt what im looking for because i want a serious boyfriend not a 7th grade-girls-have-cooties boyfriend. i think that you should go out with him and see how you like it. you could learn to like him (i know that sounds harsh) maybe im too immature to be giving you advice on this subject, but my opinion is that you should give it a try. if you dont like it, theres always other boys! good luck doll!

Yes I have. But then I figured out that the chase is really important. If you chase the right guy for the right reason you can celebrate 40 or 50 years together. If you do it for the wrong reason you can split everything in divorce and nobody wins.

You are 'sort-of' into him. You don't have to rush right into things so just keep having a good time with him. Your affection for him might increase or you could turn out to be really great friends. Just wait and see what happens!

If you're not sure then that means you don't like him.
