God said: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me, for I am a jealous god."
So... There ARE other gods? and...didn't the "Biblical" God call jealousy a sin?

Can somebody Puh-leeeze tell me where dinosaurs fit into the creationist's scheme of things? Why no "Dino" in the bible? why no T-Rex on Noah's ark?

And WHY, in the "King James Version" of the Bible there's absolutely NO MENTION of LILITH, the first woman God created? It's in the Hebrew version. She didn't get along with Adam, and, basically, she ran away. SO, God took a rib from man and created Woman,Part II, known as EVE. Why not give us the whole story there, ol' King James? Or should it be called, THE HOLY BIBLE... edited for WalMart?

And then... EVERYBODY knows ONLY the Catholic church has SPECIFIC prayers to cast out demons. Even Jesus cast demons out of a man and into pigs who ran over a cliff to their death. No such prayers found in the protestant faith? Hmmm?

Any answers? Debates?

If you'll read the original Hebrew text you'll find that Moses says to not believe in other Gods too. Back then they all believed in multiple Gods, and Moses was trying to bring others to be monotheistic, and the church also rewrote it in translation.

Lilith was written out of the bible because she wouldn't put up with Adam, which was just unheard of back then.

The Catholic church is the only one that I know of that continues to "banish" demons because the other sects decided to not go there.

Your questions are imbued with superficial thinking.
1. God often attributed human feelings to Himself for the purpose of communication. And certainly He is not jealous as a human is jealous. He does not sin. If He did, you and I would be in a great deal of trouble, much worse than we experience in this life.
2. Dinosaurs. They are not mentioned in the Bible, true. This one of your objections (your attempts to disqualify or cast doubt on the Christian faith and the Bible) is better. There are a number of qualified theologians that believe in the day-age theory, that the days of creation mentioned at the beginning of Genesis were very possibly ages, not literal days. Many do not hold this view. But it possibly explains the existence of fossils and geologic ages, and dinosaurs, etc.
3. The King James Version is not the issue. Do some decent research before you spout off. And, what version of the Hebrew Bible had Lilith in it? Maybe some bogus version. Ask the Jewish people who have safeguarded and preserved the Torah for multiple centuries about Lilith. Those scribes even counted the consonants in each book to preserve accuracy. I have translated Genesis in the Hebrew. No Lilith.
4. "Everybody knows that Only the Catholic Church has specific prayers..." Wrong again. The Eastern Orthodox Church has prayers to bring about an exorcism. The Protestant faith, granted, does not have pre-written prayers, but Protestant pastors (not all, granted) deal with the demonic. Ever heard of Rev. Bob Larson. He's been on Larry King Live, The O'Reilly Factor, Politically Incorrect, Oprah, FoxNews. Where were you?

Your objections to God, the Bible and the Christian faith, may be sincere, and they may have the appearance of cleverness, but they are in essence cheap shots. And, most of your contentions have been answered many times in other places. Do some reading.

1. Since other cultures had their gods and the Hebrews had contact with those people God felt the need to warn Hebrews from turning from Him. God (small g) can also be anything that becomes more important than God himself.

2. They didn't list all the animals on the ark so it's entirely possible dinos were on the ark. I suspect God would be smart enough to put small ones or ones in the egg rather than full grown dinos though.

3 Never heard of Lilith, but since I have a copy of the Complete Jewish Bible that is a Jewish translation of the Hebrew and Lilith is not included in that Bible I am suspicious of her existence.

4. Protestants know about casting out demons. They don't have ritual prayers for it but they are effective none the less. I've seen it.

Wow, this is going to be a lengthy answer.
To answer your first question: Are there other gods?
The answer yes because we make everyday things into gods. The biblican definition of a god is anything we hold in the highest esteem. Therefore, if we hold money in the highest esteem, or if money is the most important thing in our lives, then money is our god. However, there is only one true God and just because we have made something into a god doesn't make it really a god. For example, I can counterfit as many $100 bills as I want but it doesn't make them any more real than one drawn in crayon.
Second: God is jealous and jealousy is a sin. Therefore God is a sinner, right?
Wrong. Jealous in this sense means that God becomes angry when we turn from him and worship false gods like money. He wants us to worship him.
Third: Creationists and the bible
That is an answer that will vary depending on whoever answers. Myself, I believe the dinosaurs died out long before we were ever here. The great climate change that killed them may have even been caused because of Lucifer's banishment from heaven. I believe Dinosaurs were here before us. However, in the book of Job, Job describes two creatures that are often interpreted to be dinosaurs. Some people even believe dinosaurs live among us today in the depths of the ocean.

Fourth: Why does the NKJ version not mention Lillith.
The NKJ version of the bible is actually not what you're looking for. What you're referring to is the protestant bible which admittedly leaves out some things. In fact, the Catholic bible has more books than the protestant bible does. Yet that does not take away from the original message. God loves us and sent his only son to die for our sins. His son died, rose again and reigns beside God in heaven where those who believe and repent will also regin after death.

Fifth: Catholic Exorcisms and was Jesus Catholic?
To answer this question you have to understand something about the catholic faith. It is very strict and structured. Their prayers are memorized. When the protestants left the catholic church, this changed. Protestants believed that you could pray to God without all the strict rules. In fact, if I want to say, Yo, God...I got a problem let me lay it on you, then that is considered a prayer. So there are no 'specific' prayers for protestants. If a protestant wishes to cast demons out of someone, all they have to say is the name of God and the demons will flee. So, a protestant can say "You stinking demons, Jesus commands you to scram!" and, if the believer is founded in faith and walks closely with God, it should work.

Some Protestants also do exorcisms, although I don't know if they have specific prayers for that or not.

The reason there are no dinos in the Bible is that it is not to be understood as an encylcopedia of scientific knowledge, but rather as an illustration of the correct relationship between man and God.

God said he was jealous and then said jealousy was a sin? Wow, I think you're really on to something here! Why didn't I ever think of that? I'll bet it never occurred to anyone else before. And whoa, there are other gods, too! We never actually read that part of the Bible. The Ten Commandments are so obscure. Too bad we don't all have your depth of understanding.

Listen, kid, nobody has time to straighten you out on all these issues you've raised which display some surface learning but a profound ignorance underneath. Go and learn some more and try again in twenty or thirty years.

There are gods of OTHER religions, which are not real according to the Bible

And about jealousy, it depends where your jealousy is rooted. For example, anger is the same concept. If you are angry because George W Bush is killing innocent people, there is nothing wrong with that. If you are angry because your parents won't buy you a new computer, then that is very selfish and that is bad.

There is evidence that dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible. They talk of dragons, some fly, some swim, some are lvery arge.

Judaism and Christianity are different religions. The Hebrew Bible and the Christian Bible are different. That's why there is no Lilith.

Catholics also use other scriptures, other than the Bible. That's why they have prayers that Protestants don't use.

#1 God capital "G" is Yahweh the only living God, the other god's lowercase "g" are made by man, image's or anything you might put before God, as to the jealousy part, I think it's more like a husband and wife jealousy, were if they gave there heart or love to someone else, you know a "good" if you will jealousy, were God longs for the hearts of the one's he Love's.

#2. I not sure were , but in the bible it mentions a great creature I think they call it a labyrinth some. say was a dinosaur.

#3. sorry never heard of Lilith only Eve, check out Strong's doctonary or a commentary for help on that one.

#4 Jesus said to his diciples, that demons come out with much prayer and fasting, he also said: these signs follow them that belive in my name they will cast out demons, we don't need certain prayer just the name of Jesus cast them out. hope this helps.

Firstly, there obviously are other gods, for many of them are mentioned in the Bible, such as Baal, Diana(or Artemis), Chemosh, and many others, but God's comment on these is: "Their idols are silver and gold, the works of men's hands; but our God made the heavens, He does whatever He pleases." (Psalm 115:3,4)
As far as jealousy is concerned; what mother is not jealous over her child? If someone else comes by and picks up her baby and starts to walk away with it, do you suppose she will not jealously contend for her own child? How much more will God contend for the ones He has created?
As for dinosaurs, actually I believe they do appear in the Bible, in Job 40:15 through the end of chapter 41, 2 creatures are descibed which do not correspond to any known living creature, and I am persuaded they are describing what we today would refer to as a dinosaur.
As for Lilith, this is merely a Jewish fable, and does not appear in the Bible. indeed we are exhorted that we should "not (be) paying attention to Jewish myths and commandments of men who turn away from the truth" (Titus 1:14)
As for casting out demons, I would speculate that others have codified prayers besides the Catholics. I would be surprised if Orthodox and perhaps Anglicans did not have something along these lines; but regardless, the Biblical prescription for dealing with them is to cast them out in the name of Jesus, under the leading of the Holy Spirit (see Acts 16:16-18 for just one example)
Hope that answers some of your questions!

There is only ONE TRUE GOD.
Let's get some facts straight.
1. Who created the story of Lilith? By her "running away," this makes God creation a big flaw BEFORE sin came into play. God makes no mistake.
2. Noah and man were created less than 6000 years ago. Dinos were probably created well before the restructured earth was made.
3. Catholics have specific prayers for exorcism? Get off your high horse. Jesus gave the authority to ALL true believers.
4. There are false gods and idols. Anything we put before worship the Jehovah is against "no gods before ME."
5. Jealousy is NOT a sin. Envy is. Dictionary will be helpful at this time.

thanks, It'll be interesting to see what the christians say, when I asked about Lilith nobody answered, they all just quoted irrelevant scripture at me...
hope your question doesn't incur too much abuse!

ps - since nobody's answering your question about Lilith, she is only mentioned in passing, likely because the story was feared to give credence to a woman's rights - there are two stories of creation of man and woman even in the nkj, the first has them both created at the same time, then two chapters later it talks about eve being created from Adam,s rib, the idea was that if she were a part of him, she would be subject to him. I also have the ancient hebrew bible, most people also don't realize that genesis is one long poem...and since when is poetry taken literally, eh!
