we are planning on going to jamaica to get married and i was wondering any tips from the expierienced. is it better to go with travel packages? what do i have to do to get married when i get there. do you think we could do this with $3,000? thank you!

I don't know about Jamaica, but you'd better go the registry office where you live, and contact the one in Jamaica on-line. Do everything now so that there will be no surprises. I was married in Taiwan, and it took months to get everything done. As for price, I'd suggest talking to your travel agent, and some people in Jamaica. Your best bet is to have it done at one of the hotels. They will probably have a beautiful garden, or know other beautiful places to do it. Be careful with travel packages, their schedules are VERY tight, and you could easily have all of your plans ruined by others if you are not careful.

OMG! I remeber it like ti was yesterday! Jamaicia is nice yes, But you have to go to St.Maarten! in the caribbean, that island it great, lots of great beaches!, Friendly people as if you knew them your whole live, wonderful shopping atmosphere! OMG Me and my wife were ticked for a 3 week stay, but we eneded up staying 5! Lovely Island..... Just a thought for you! Look it up,
