4 lame answers from sexist women.

Queen Rania's sexist question asks:

"Throughout the world women face varying degrees of hardship and inequality"

yep...and nowhere more than in her Middle East.

"yet there are simple acts of courage which women and men alike can take to improve the lives of women"

Does she ask about improving the lives of Men? Boys? No. But she's the Queen! Why the agenda supporting only a portion of her "subjects?"

"and ensure a better legacy for our daughters."

Is that to be obtained differently than a better legacy for all? Are not all created equal?

"This International Women's Day, what are you doing to empower women in your community?"

Why an international day based on gender? That is *patently* sexist. Women are empowered by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of hjappiness.

Quenn Rania, the tyrant (all monarchies are tyrants) has a patently sexist agenda.

Now tell us, Rania worshippers...just what is it that you want women "empowered" to do, that they are not already responsible to do for themselves?

Heart And Troll, while I can understand where you're coming from, and that question is technically sexist, that word has a bad connotation -- sexist isn't always bad. Sometimes it's just a matter of what we're focusing on at the moment.

I don't get any impression that she's generally discriminatory on the basis of sex (the definition of sexist).

And by the way, I differ completely with your use of the word, "tyrant."

I would be lying if I said the question you referred to didn't bother me at all. I, too, would feel a little better if there were some indication of her care for male members of her country and the world. But I acknowledge that my feeling is based on my history, which I won't get into.

I've said for a long time that while both genders suffer great inequities and hardships, far more support and public awareness seems to exist for the female perspective.... at least in my lifetime and experience.

But Queen Rania (like everyone else) has a right to whatever pet causes she chooses, and it's understandable that one of hers would be one which she can personally relate to (based on her gender, and maybe on *her* history). If I were on a mission to improve the world in that way, I may appear to be on the *other* side, favoring the men. But in truth, I favor all of humanity equally, not to mention the sexes getting along well.

From watching, listening to, and reading about her, I have to believe she feels the same way. She appears to be a very good person with admirable goals for the world. I admire her a lot.

To paraphrase The Beatles, Her Majesty's a pretty nice girl but she doesn't have a lot to say {about men, in that question}. ;-)

Rania is a lady and deserves respect! She is fighting hard to promote the rights of women and poor people, she wants a world full of peace and harmony. She is someone who wants equality among races and people, no matter sex or who they are. Also, she is an intelligent person who knows how to balance her personal and laboral life. She's not only a queen, she is a good mother, she is a very dedicated embassador and civic-engagement participant.
Actually, she is one of the best women of the world.
