Dealing with that situation is very hard. I mean, whenever our parents would dictate what we should and shouldn't do.. like in your words.. they want to control your life.. Rebelling might be the answer but not for now.. You should consider first what will be the outcome if you and your friend rebel. Isn't it wonderful if you first finish your studies and be successful before you rebel.. For that reason, i assure you your stepdad will no longer instruct you.. He will let you go.. he will give you the will to choose decisions or just supports you in everything you do. Ü

Hello, I am going to ask you a question? Are you pregnant? If you are, no covering up will do to hide the fact that your are. Eventually everyone will find out. If you are in this situation, you and your best friend will have to owe up to it. Go to your parents and tell them what has happened. Be not afraid. Just be honest and true. All things work out better with honestly.. If you know for sure they cannot handle this well and that things might get physical, then have an adult like a teacher, or a family member be there with you both. You cannot cover up, things always come to the light.
Good Luck..

Your parents have given you shelter, love, guidance enabling you to further your studies. As long as you are under their roof parents feel you still need their guidance. Soon enough you will have the freedom that will give you total control over your life. I am sure you need some of their help still. Patience. You are lucky you have good parents that help you to help yourself to have a better life.
