As long as you allow these feelings to continue, these people have a form of power over you. They are controlling your emotions and your mind in a way, that when you see or think about them, you are made angry, and besides that, that's the way the devil wants you to feel. You must find the strength to let these feelings go, ask God to help you. I understand that they must have really offended you, but you must forgive them for your own sake. Remember Jesus said if you can't forgive others, neither will God forgive you. Love those who hate you, and pray for those who do evil to you.In so doing, you will heap burning coals on their head. God bless

of course you can help it. look, if I can refrain from calling atheists imbeciles for a week, then you can refrain from hating. Just, if it's easier, maybe you should take it a step at a time:
1) view people as humans, not subhumans in any way
2) recognize differences, note that only people can change themselves, and that you are not to toletrate sin, but tolerate the existance of human beings
3) try torture therapy (mild). every time you're going to call someone an infadel (or something along those lines), slap yourself.

but don't hate yourself. It isn't right to hate anybody, including yourself. If you can't love yourself, how can you love others as yourself or better?

Let go of the hate for the sake of your own mind. Hate is like a festering sore and it keeps infecting your mind the more you think about it. Once you allow yourself to hate one thing or one person it becomes easier to hate more and more people. If at all possible, just let it go. The sooner the better.

You shouldn't hate anybody nor should you hate yourself. Hatred is bad for your state of mind and health. Anyway the best thing to do is recognize that people are different and except people for how they are.

Not only is hatred wrong, it's bad for your health. Holding grudges towards others can lead to a whole mess of health problems from anxiety to depression, even hypertension. All that anger built up is no good, let it go and you'll feel a lot better.

Stop the hate it is wrong. You are more wrong to hate than that person is of bugging you. Please start w/ goodness and understanding, you will be a better person for it, and when it comes down to it the more you hate the more heartache you create for yourself. You are only hurting you.

GOD says, "Love the sinner but hate the sin." Is it really the person you dislike or what they do? If they didn't do what bothers you would you still dislike them?

hating is like drinking or drugging. at first it has a pleasant effect , but then you are hooked and it is really hard to stop. you have to stop it when it first starts. if possible stay away from the person and it will eventually leave your mind. experience speaking

often what we dislike in others are mirror-images of what we dislike about ourselves (or manifestations of things we dislike or fear about ourselves).

take a breather... relax... and brainstorm up a list of everything you don't like about others. You'll find a lot of things to think about regarding yourself. The next step is dealing with it all, and forgiving others for these faults - that wil lhelp you forgive yourself.

So if you sin, what happens? You go to Hell, right?

If someone else sins, they go to Hell, right?

That's hateful.

When you drop concepts like "sin" from your thinking, living and loving become a whole lot easier.
