I have a little situation. There's this guy that I really like, but I don't know how to let him know. I can't really tell if he likes me or not. Sometimes he's flirtatious with me, but other times he doesn't really look at me. The thing is he's younger than me, which is something that I usually don't do but I don't know if age should matter that much. What do you think?

People just aren't very smart when it comes to reading each other's subtleties...
Your best bet is to flat out tell him. You'll be able to clearly express what you feel and not have the potential problem of a misunderstanding/confusion.
But if you insist on being subtle...
Spend time with him. Flirt. Perhaps grab his arm and link it with yours while going for a walk...
I would still just flat out tell him though...

well... ok you're in a tricky situation, and me as a guy, i'd kinda like for someone to come out and say it, but then again, if i don't like them back, it's kinda awkward. Also, age doesn't usually matter, i usually like girls that are younger than me anyway, and me only being 15, i'm talkin like a year younger, but still. The age isn't a problem. What you should try to do is this, never think he's better than you, i've done that with girls so many times it screws up the chances, but back to you. Ok, it may seem pointless, but if you REALLY like this guy, go right out and say it, just say, hey, i don't know if you've noticed, but i kinda like you, or say somethin like that... but i hope that rambling helps...

This sounds like you work with this person. I would suggest that interpersonal office relationships are a very bad idea. If you want a one nighter just take him to a bar get drunk and whether he likes you or not your in.
A relationship however would be a very bad idea if you work together. If not, ask him on a date for a drink or something. If you get rejected you don't end up with any real embarrassment. Guys are not as picky as girls and not very good at reading minds so you have to be obvious otherwise he just won't see it.

Never speak to him, and avert your gaze. Avoid talking to him. After all, us guys are such great mind readers we know exactly what you're thinking. So don't be obvious, after all, that would be a disaster if you were obvious. The whole world might stop and talk about you and your obvious ways.

just keep things the way they are, it will all fall into place. in the meantime keep your options open. he may just like being flirtatious but if your really anxious to know, just ask! guys like bold women.

unless he is like 10years younger,
then that might be a problem!

you should find out from one of his friends,
get them to ask him for you!
or maybe if you have instant messenger (msn, aim, yahoo!, etc) you could IM him and casually bring it up. ask him who he likes and if he would ever go out with you. if he says no, its fine! there are plenty of other guys out there! dont let it ruin your friendship though! if he says yes, then... he says yes! =]
