Okay, keeping in mind that good moral, God fearing people believe that we ought to love unconditionally; give me an example of how you've done so today...

I'll start: I've told people the truth, and never pretended to be something I'm not...

How's that love?
Well, if I love God it means I obey his commands...and I've obeyed by not watering down his gospel.

Please note: I do not look down on anyone irregardless of race, gender, sexual preference, religion (yes! even religion...), or anything else that would divide us ----

I love the person unconditionally - as God has loved each of us. I do not condone sinful behavior in their life (or mine...) so therefor I'm not being biased/prejudiced/biggot, etc...

God bless.

Now share yours!

1) technically you can love without liking. Don't say it's not possible, because I don't hate you as a person, I just don't like your attitude/sin.

2) technically, I haven't sinned, but I've still done something wrong by God's standards. An atheist is really a potential Christian (no matter what they say or do), and I tend to treat them as inferiors, which is wrong.

so have I shown unconditional love? no, sorry, no. But I'm working on it. I won't call someone an imbecile for a week! wait and see!.....okay, maybe 5 days....no, no, a week.

Don't be silly. There's no such thing as unconditional love. There is a condition for everything. You just don't go outside and start throwing money at people for no reason.

Unconditional love..that's always been a good one..One of my family comes up and blows half my head off..but I'm still able to shoot him back, yeah, there won't be any 'unconditional love '. He's done.

You walk around believing that I am going to Hell, and you're OK with that. I can feel how unconditional your love is.

Today, I loved you, and everyone else on this planet, unconditionally.

Your example is more about honesty and transparency and authenticity. Unconditional love in the biblical sense would be more about forgiveness, and forgiveness is much more difficult than honesty and transparency and authenticity.

Even the love of God is conditional. If it wasn't, there would be no such thing as an unforgiveable sin.

"Unconditional love" is a myth. There are always reasons you like or dislike people. And it is not wrong to have reasons why you have that emotion. Trying to artificially love everything equally really waters down your emotions.
