ok my cousin is severaly overweight she says no matter what she dose she gains weight i totally understand but she is drinking heavy alcahool like vodka and cocke and rum she is 54 163 pounds is there a way to make her aware of health issue that dosent make her feel like i am judging or being mean to her

it's very tricky to speak to someone about their weight. I'm sure your cousin is well aware that she is overweight. It can be more hurtful when someone points it out. instead of talking about weight you might want to bring up the subject of too much alcohol being dangerous with many health complications at her age. Also point out that coca cola has a lot of sugar which adds fat To the daily diet.

I have learned in life that you can never change someone else they have to be willing to change themselves.

Sounds like Depression to me. Alcohol,and Weight Gain?
I do not think alcohol is causing the weight gain. l Think this is an under lying problem that she is masking. You may want to call a crisis line your self and talk with them about her with them.Maybe save your sanity anyway by calling the crisis line.

All of that drinking is doing her in. It doesn't matter now how much dieting she does or how much exercise she gets if she doesn't cut down the alchohol. It will just make everything worse.
