I hope you're not basing they're qualities on only their "hotness." Make sure if their dating material, even if you're not looking for anything serious. One might me boring, the other may be a jerk. Whatever you do, don't break up their friendship. Remember, boys talk about girls just as much as girls talk about guys. If not, more. Whoever you choose, he'll talk about you to the other. If you wanna keep your options open, don't do anything that will reflect badly to either of them.

this happened to me but i was one of the guys. to tell you the story would take a while so i will shorten it:
ok i liked a girl named taylor so i told my friend josh, then all three of us hung out at a bonfire. then later that week she called me,we talked. then she told me she liked me a little sothen after that i called her later that week and i got her twin bro. he said she may like me but she loves my best friend. i was crushed!! so then i asked for her and then i said(trying to be nice) well you can have josh if you like. then i found out that the only reason he liked her was cuz she liked football...here's the funny part i asked her if she liked football and i found out she hates it!!! so anyways where was i going with this oh yeah, pick the one who likes you for who you are. it will be a better relationship for you. plus hotness is not always good try dating both of them once thendecide you might like one waaaaaayyyyy more

well you didn't really give me a description of either of them. flip a coin for them. heads for: hot guy 1, and tails for: hot guy 2. if it lands on say for example: heads, hot guy 1 and you don't like it then you should go out with hot guy 2 cause that shows who you really want. now if it lands on heads and you don't complain about it then you like guy 1 better. (it's just an idea and helps show what you really want) sorry if i didn't explain it very well.

but my opinion (since youre asking for it) is that you should never get involved with best friends, because no matter what you do someone will be mad at someone else. you could possibly ruin their friendship and thats never good.

well, it depends on what the guys are like. Who do you think is nicer? which one do you think you'd be more compatible with? it's not all about looks, although that doesn't hurt haha.
