Yes and no. It could very well, be a sign of drugs. but, I also know people who have the same look from being extremely tired. If you are uncertain. i would just address the issue and tell him you noticed that he looked " awful " when he was over, and tell him if he ever feels like that again, you would prefer to reschedule his visit. So that he may enjoy it.
