some people think there is evidence of God. whether its schizophrenia or feeling good in church or design in nature, some people want to see God. it doesn't do reason any favors to compare their God to things we know are old myths unless you can argue that we know God is also an old myth(which you could do).
question their "proof", not their faith.

Santa and the bunny don't ask you to kill everyone, including the livestock in cities where there is one person that does not worship them.
