OK. well recently ive been dating this guy who we'll call "Ricky" and i just found out from my ex a few days ago that Ricky asked another girl out on a date. well, i confronted him about it and he was like..."well i was drunk. i dont remember it, but i was messed up." well, then my ex got the other girl to call me and she told me everything, and so i called Ricky back. i told him to be straight with me and he told me it was true. i spent so much time talking and crying to my ex that night. well, the next morning Ricky called me and asked..."Would u be willing to give someone a second chance?" well, now im confused. should i date him again (Prob. the stupidest thing to do or should i not. I mean...he hurt me and for some reason i want him back but a part of me wants to hurt him. so what do i do?

Screw him, find a new guy. Let Ricky be the bastard that he is with a different girl, maybe one that deserves it.

After drinking for a few decades I can tell you that people don't do anything drunk they wouldn't do sober. It's just easier to do when you're drunk. Saying you are drunk is just a lame excuse. You either need to move on or accept this individual with their infidelity. Some couples have open relationships that allow them to see other people. "Ricky" may be capable of fidelity, however he has no interest in remaining faithful to YOU.

I am so glad I have gone through that, gotten hurt, cried my eyes out and hit myself over the head for making the wrong decision. I let "The Jerk" back into my Life and he tried to ruin it again!
If "Ricky" does it once and gets away with it he will do it again. He will say "He was Drunk" every time!!!

I say give him a second chance (Only if you REALLY think this guy is worth your time and special enough to give a second chance)....but have a long conversation with him and ask him why the hell he did that to you . The fact that he's asking out some other girl makes me think he's not happy in a relationship with you for one reason or another. It's your job to find out what that reason is and fix it/.

Don't take him back. He might be tempting but believe me you don't want him. What if you saw this girl dating this guy that disrespects her by hitting on other girls and getting drunk. drinking just makes you loose, the actions you do at that time are actions that you do want to do. He is not worth your time. Plus there is too much drama with him. He will not realize what he did was wrong if you take him back.
