If by strong you mean firm, not necessarily. To have firmer stools, you need fiber. Water is very healthy and necessary, but the colons job is to remove any fluids in the stool.

Yes! the fiber in the fruits and veggies will do wonder for your bowels! And the water will, among varous other benifits, cleanse your bowels and makes everything move along faster. Hope everthing comes out ok! : )

it will make you very gassy (too much fiber)
you need 5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day and 8 glasses of water a day.
if you are constipated try taking laxatives before you go to bed.

All plant foods like fruits and vefetables have plenty of fiber. Animal foods like meat and dairy have no fiber at all. None, zip, nada, zilch.
