I have a big cement hole filled with good soil and tons of worms?

At least last May there were ton of worms in the dirt that we put in the cement hole. Do you think that the worms survived? I'm putting dog poop in the hole and I want it to decompose. How do I do that anyways?

just put it in the hole and let it do it's thing also throw in some leaves and grass clippings in about a year it should be ready to use in your garden
