This song, Solo en Ti. one verse goes
"Va pasando el tiempo y no se
de lo que fue aquella vez
Que ha quedado?
Te habras olvidado de mi
mientras yo vivo por ti
Obsesionado?"

i was wondering if someone could translate it to english word by word...not the actual english version of the song "Only You"
like specific words, like pasando, aquella, and the rest??

thanks!!!!

"Va pasando el tiempo y no sé
De lo que fue aquella vez
¿Qué ha quedado?
¿Te habrás olvidado de mí
Mientras yo vivo por ti
Obsesionado?"

TRANSLATION:

"The time keeps on running and I don't know
What was the other time about
What has remained?
Have you forgotten about me
while I live for you
Obsessed?"

HERE’S THE WORD BY WORD:
(Except that they aren’t all of the words. The ones I didn’t put are because they are hard to explain and it will take a long time.)

Pasando (comes from the verb “pasar”, which means “to pass”) = passing, running (time)
El = the
Tiempo = time
Y = and
No = no, not
Sé (comes from the verb “saber”, which means “to know”)
De = of
Fue = was
Aquella = that, those
Vez = occasion, time
Quedado (comes from the verb “quedar”, which means “to remain, be left”)
Olvidado (comes from the verb “olvidar”, which means “to forget”)
Mientras = while
Yo = I
Vivo (come from the verb “vivir”, which means “to live”)
Obsesionado (adjective) = obsessed
(Just as the word “obsessed” has a verb similar to it, so does the word “obsesionado”. The verb for “obsessed” is “to obsess”; the verb for “obsesionado” is “obsesionar”.)

(NOTE: These are not the only meaning for these words.)

Only in you. Time goes on and I do not know of what happened that time before. What has stayed? Have you forgotten me while I live for you. Am I obsessed?
