Not only does he like you, you like him also, to let him put a hickey on your neck. I would just be careful because there is the girlfriend. I would also question, if he is doing this while he is dating his girlfriend, will he do it to you? Meaning, if he is being unfaithful to his girlfriend at the time being, and being disrespectful to her, will he do that to you, if you two start dating? Just be cautious.

hey u guys have been good friends maybe he's been thinking about it for a while now and decided to make his move. your not acting like you didnt want this to happen but you are he has a girlffriend and it's a good thing you respect that...he has a really good friend and if you guys do end up together i hope u still have that same friendly bond.

he might like you, but it sounds pretty creepy to me...unless you're into that sort of thing.
i would stay away. he has a girlfriend and he is not the last man on earth.
but he is your best friend. tell him what you thought of what he did. if he really is your best friend, then you guys should be able to figure something out. but remember, he already had a girlfriend. think of what she would think/feel if she knew...

I'd say he has an interest in you. Not just as a friend.
Boys have a weird way of showing a friend he has more than a friendly interest in a girl. I'd say this is one of them.
