A homophobe wrote a question stating that the bible was the truth, the "word of God".

I wrote that she would not know the word of God If He hit her in the head with it, and I pray that He does.

She sent me this e-mail:

"You basically bashed my question, yet you told me that you would pray for me. If you believe in prayer why don't you believe in the Bible? "

So tell me, do only christians have the exclusive right to pray?

Lol the illogical thing is that, christians believe that when nonchristians call out to 'god' and pray, they are praying to a different or fake god...
All God is one God...
Humans differentiate Gods to make their organization bigger, thats all...

Prayer is definitely NOT exclusive to Christianity.

As an example, Muslims, Jews and Christians all pray to the same God-- the God of Abraham.
Other faiths pray to their gods or goddesses.
Prayer is only defined as a conversation with your Higher Power.

A Christian should know that God wishes for everyone to pray! However, a more polite way to pray for God to hit in the head with the Truth might be something to consider.

Of course not. Many religions pray, just not to the Christian God. Some try to find enlightenment by meditating, while others pray to whatever god they believe in. Although some Christians think they have the exclusive rights to praying, they don't.

No, of course not. Muslims pray 5 (I'm sorry maybe it's six) times a day. People pray to all sorts of deities. People who believe in God but are affiliated with no religion at all pray to find Truth.

If it would make you feel better, my cat will pray to a rock on your behalf...

j/k....

Ofcourse praying isn't exclusive to Christians.

Ofcourse, the prayer isn't going to do much unless it is prayed to God (as in "the real one") and the person praying is praying it from a humble & contrite heart.

good luck with that.
