I would like to think that my mother's family of Jehovah's Witnesses do not set the standard for Christianity. She is no longer a witness, having left Kingdom Hall in her early adulthood.

I am polite and tolerant of Jehovah's Witnesses most of the time. The individuals in Kingdom Hall can vary greatly.

But this particular family, in rural Nebraska, can be cold toward their non-witness relatives. It will be two years in June since I last visited them. And I do not intend to do so anytime soon. I hope that over time, my mom and this family come to realize how alienated I became.

Christians in general seem to be largely arrogant and rude towards people who think differently than they do and some tend to be very close-minded and bigoted.

Christianity does have adherents who aren't quite as warped as their religion tends to be. Some folk, in particular, seem to be extremely respectful and polite regarding their views. But this unfortunately is the minority.

It depends. I've met alot of really nice Christians, but I will admit that I am apprehensive towards Christians because of all the negativity I've received. For example. Here's a video a Christian sent me recently.

This is very offensive to me. The website he read from is known to make up lies and hate speech.

I was so upset I did this video in response.

I am a Christian. To me they are the most loving people on earth. A true Christian is Christlike. Loving unconditional.

Christians are individuals who can only be understood individually, not as a group. They are no different from others that way.
