One or two glasses a day is fine. Enjoy and Salut!

Absolutely not! So keep on, keep on. There are health benefits to drinking red wine - even on a daily basis. It's the most sophisticated way to drink alcohol on a daily basis without the stigma behind it... although a couple of beers at the end of a long day to relax is just as fine if you ask me. And those with kids are the ones that really need to have some down time at the end of the day and drink a couple glasses of wine a day.

i think one glass is OK. But take it from an alcoholic, those two glasses a day can turn into bottles. I miss drinking good red wine. I hope you're enjoying it. i think i's a wonderful part or the day. To relax and drink your glasses of wine.

It is often recommended to have 4-8 ounces of dry red wine a day. So...I guess it depends on the size of your glasses. I just bought a set of large wine glasses that I love (and they can easily hold way more than 8 ounces).

As a mental health and substance abuse clinician with 20+ years experience, now retired, I can say I agree with your first six respondents and actuatedtendency's caution with respect to "regularity" or "consistency" of consumption. After 20+ years of working with alcohol abuse and dependence, I can't help but look at the cautious side of an answer as well as the optimistic side. I would also ask whether that is all the alcohol consumption you're doing, or is there more? And what about other drugs? It's just the clinician in me that has to "know it all" before "diagnosing" a situation. I can appreciate your consideration of your drinking on children, but the bigger issue is it's effect on you, so, maybe give it one day's rest a week, or maybe two, with little or no other alcohol or drugs, prescribed, OTC, or other to go along with it, and you'll be doing fine. God Bless you.

I have heard recently that red wine has the same benefits as grape juice. However, Red Wine & Health (source below) says it can protect against certain cancers, heart disease, and elevated cholesterol.

depends- every single night? do you have any adverse effects? I would say it's probably cool to stick to 1 glass per night- or lower the number of times a week you drink in a week. People easily get addicted to habit- try something new drink water or milk instead sometimes-
