Not particularly. They are very starchy with very little nutritional value otherwise (simple carb). I think there's some iron in them but that's about it. Especially when you start adding butter, cheese and salt they get really unhealthy.

yes they are unless that's all your eating. grits are good in the winter time because its a hot meal
