right now? we'd lose:' we're tied down in both Iraq and Afganistan. Why do you think Iran and North Korea are thumbing their noses at us? Because they know we can't do anything militarily right now to blow their asses up!

Then we'd all be screwed! however, in order for us to win at all, we gotta start this shindig soon. China continues to catch up to the great US of A, while we continue to cut defense spending! Where's the logic? And the Chinese are constantly pirating our technologies and, like 3 years ago, one of their destroyers showed up with an AEGIS imitation on its tower!

The question about who will win in a war between America and China depends on when such war will be fought. If the war takes place now or in the near future, America has the military superiority and will therefore win the war. But if the war will be fought let's say 15, 30, or 50 years from now, China will have the military superiority by that time and will be the winner. China's military spending is growing at a steady rate of 10% or more annually. So, imagine how big the Chinese military and technology will look like in twenty years time.

Most likely, we would lose. In 1998, the Yangtze River flooded (prior to construction of the Three Gorges Dam). The Chinese government sent over 2 million Active Duty soldiers that were stationed in nearby regions, along with mobilizing the local militias to control the flooding.

The reason this is important, the United States Army does not even have 2 million soldiers (Active Duty, Reserves and National Guard combined).

China also just increased there Defense Spending by 18%, they are now the second largest consumer of oil in the world and their government is still not really considered stable.

China voted against the Iraq invasion, but after the invasion, American soldiers found brand new Chinese weaponry being used by the Iraqi Army, in direct violation o of the UN sanctions against Iraq that China voted to emplace (along with weapons from France, Germany and Russia-care to hazard a guess as to which other countries opted against the invasion?). This leads to collusion with terrorist sponsoring countries.

Well the casulties would be extremely high. We probaby won't die from nukes because I saw on the Discovery Channel that they have a rocket that can take a nuke out in the air. They have these things everywhere in the U.S. Who would win? I don't know I just hope I'm not around when we do fight China because our economy would be down the toilet.

America would dominate the air and the seas because it's more technologically advanced. China would crush land forces because of their overwhelming numbers. Then, one would fire nukes and the other follows till the whole world explodes.

the chinese train everyday to win a war against our military, they have all our training manuals and know all our battle drills
During the cold war we trained against he eastern bloc countries and called them OPFOR, opposing forces, we had all the intel on every battle drill they had which would allow us to counter them in any situation, now the chinese have ours and they train hard and they train well to beat us and as we speak, we are doing nothing about it, we are not even trying to get the training manuals from them they they use, you know like stealing a proffessional football teams playbook before the big game

hmm... Either we would win and continue becoming a fascist country OR China would defeat us and turn us into a communist country.... Maybe if we equally annihilated each other then the few people remaining alive could dig the constitution out of the ashes and start using it again.
