She just called for a Gi Bill of Rights, saying democrates can do a better job of protecting and providing for soliders than republicans. Who is she kidding her husband removed almost 30% of our military while he was in office, if we had a 30% bigger force today, our troops wouldn't be overburdened with multiple deployments to iraq and afganistand. I think this lady is off her rocker and sways to which ever way the politcal wind is blowing. What do you think about her new calling?

Hillary will say whatever she thinks the audience wants to hear. It doesn't matter that she contradicts herself with every syllable. And some idiots are actually considering her as our next president? If she's in command, she'll cut our defense budget to nothing, and reserve what's left of the military to follow her husband around and keep him in line!

Where did you get this 'LADY' crap ? These people sit by the radio each day to grab a morsel of news they can turn on the current administration, or use in such a way that people really believe they're concerned, and that is their theme for the day. Clinton will hold on to this Walter Reed thing as long as people listen.

What this cruddy slug isn't telling you is she and the American people have known for the last fifty years that the VA isn't anyone's first choice for health care. It's just another bogged down bureauacracy. Most vets, myself included, don't and won't use the VA. It is a necessary institution for those more serious casualties of war, both former and present, and they do a damn good job of bringing these guys up to speed again, at least as far as they can bring them back. How dare these arrogant wannabes who use the work of the VA and the dedicated professionals at Walter Reed Army Hospital, as their whipping boy ! What have any of them done to help, rather than to criticize the dedicated people who are in the trenches everyday with these tortured souls trying to put their lives together again !

The VA doesn't deserve this trash talk from these low life politicians who will say and do anything just so they can have some new talking points ! I wonder how many of these manipulators have taken the time to visit a ward at Walter Reed, just to say hello to these true warriors and to say thanks for your service ?

You think it's Clinton's fault that we are "overburdened with multiple deployments to Iraq"?!? Stop blaming someone else for Dubya's mistakes!

We wouldn't be overburdened in Iraq, if we WEREN'T IN IRAQ! We have no reason to be there in the first place!! Osama was responsible for 9/11 and Osama was hiding in, and supported by, Afghanistan. Period. End of story. We should have focused everything on eradicating the Taliban permanently and finding Osama. But President Chimpy decided to neglect the true mission and instead invade a country that had NO WMDs, had NO clear ties to Osama, and had NOTHING to do with 9/11. Because of this, we are now fighting TWO wars, one of which is completely asinine and unnecessary...and THAT'S why we are overburdened.

So, is Hillary off her rocker? No, not at all. I don't agree with all of her political views and probably wouldn't vote for her. But she's not stupid and crazy, which is more than I can say for Dubya!

Truth hurts, huh? Ha, ha.

She is Grandstanding.....Her hubby, cut the Military and the Liberal Congress has historically cut the VA budgets.
When the Clinton's were in the White house, Hillary did not allow Uniformed Military inside,,,She and Bill were rude and demeaning to all the Military......Clinton would never salute his Marine entourage, until someone made a stink and he had to be taught how to salute.....Jeez even John Boy Kennedy knew how to salute at JFKs funeral, and he was only 3.
Hillary is just grasping for support and will drop it as soon as another cause arises... Rest assured, the Liberal Congress might pass something now, but after 2008, they will resind it.

ya - i say let the soldiers blow in the wind. i for one cant believe that shes trying to do something good for the troops - being such a traitor and all.
everyone knows she helped bill make the decision to reduce the military. lets just reduce taxes for the rich some more- that will keep her from having the funds to help our troops!

We wouldn't be fighting these fights if Clinton had done the job right and taken out Bin Laden instead of egging him on.

Can You Name This Country?

IS THIS COUNTRY:
RUSSIA? NO
CHINA? NO
GREAT BRITAIN? NO
FRANCE? WRONG AGAIN
MUST BE USA? STILL WRONG

United States as the " American military forces that have disappeared since the 1992 election of Bill Clinton and Al Gore".

Bill Clinton cut the American Military strength so deeply that we now have to deploy troops repeatedly to various areas. I have friends going from Korea to Afghanistan, then back to the States to Iraq, then to Germany to Bosnia.

Sorry about the all caps, it was copied from another location. You can cut a forest down in one week, But it takes decades to grow it back.

I'm not a fan of hers. Having said that, the reason the military is "overburdened with multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan" is because our genius president insisted there were WMD in Iraq. When that was exposed as false, he simply declined responsibility. By the way: why are US troops still there, with no end in sight, when Bush himself made it clear that the status was "Mission Accomplished"?

I think she if full of you know what. I suppose
she is just being a Clinton. The sad part about
her is {now hear this} I look for Obama to run
for president and name that bit-- as vice pres.
Mark my word because they feel that that will
be the best ticket that they can produce.

Hillary Clinton is doing what she has always done. Supported the troops. According to the veterans of our recent incursions into Afghanistan and Iraq, republicans in the house and senate have done an abysmal job in supporting our troops.

Read teh below link, and if you support our troops, vote accordingly in the next election. unless, of course, you are mired in gung-ho rhetoric and empty slogans.

Never ask questions about politics. They are all Jacka$$es(kind of makes you wonder why they picked that animal to represent the Democrats) and have no clue what they are doing. As long as they have their cushy jobs and our troops are over there, they don't care what happens to the rest of us.
