You so called christians, are different among your selves, you are not the same either, who to say you are christians or not. The privilege of worshiping Almighty God is according to the dictates of our own conscience, we allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
(Pearl of Great Price | Articles of Faith 1:11)

Yes, Laineyet, I know that scripture well, but do you know this one,
7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.(Old Testament | Amos 3:7), what about this one?
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:(New Testament | Ephesians 4:11 - 12) Where are your Apostles and Prophets as called by the Lord to run his Church? Prophets called by the Lord is not false prophets, or are u saying prophets are not needed?

You are correct there is ONE true christian Church. The bride of Christ. Members are added to that church by the Holy Ghost and by no one else. Christ is the ONLY High Priest, all members are priests of the Most High. Jesus the God shown so clearly to be God in the first chapter of the Gospel of John is the Chief cornerstone The 12 Apostles Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James and Matthias are the foundation. We the believers make up the Building the building fitly framed together growing unto an holy temple in the Lord: You can even be a Mormon and be a member of this church. Of course it would mean denying the false doctrine that Mormonism is always trying to pass off as the real thing when true Christians have the Real thing.. Jesus Christ The God of ALL creation.... God is Spirit. (John 4:24, 1Tim 6:15-16). He is not a man (Num 23:19), and He has always existed as God (Ps. 90:2, 93:2; Mal. 3:6).

MORMONISM
God the Father was once a man like us who progressed to become a God and has a body of flesh and bone (Doctrine & Covenants 130:22). God himself has a father, and that god has a father, etc. (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pg. 373; Mormon Doctrine, pg. 577).

CHRISTIANITY

There is only one True and Living God and apart from Him there are no other Gods. (Deut. 4:35, 39; Isa. 43:10-11; 44:6,8; Mk. 12:29-34).

MORMONISM

There are many gods, and human beings can become gods and goddesses in the Celestial Kingdom (History of the Church, Vol. 6, pg. 306; Doctrine & Covenants 132:20-21). Those who achieve godhood will have spirit children who will worship and pray to them, just as we pray to God the Father (Gospel Principles, pg. 290).

CHRISTIANITY

Jesus is God and the Creator of all things (John 1:1-3; Col. 1:16).

MORMONISM

Jesus is Lucifer's brother and our elder brother as well. He progressed to godhood, having first been procreated as a spirit child of the Father and a heavenly mother, and later conceived physically by God the Father (Adam God) and an earthly mother (Gospel Principles, pp.15-16).

CHRISTIANITY

We are saved by Grace alone, apart from our own self-righteous works (Eph. 2:8-9; Gal. 2:16; Rom. 3:27-28; Titus 3:5)

MORMONISM

We are saved by grace after all we can do (2 Nephi 25:23). Works are necessary for ultimate salvation, which comes by obeying LDS laws and ordinances (Gospel Principles, pp. 291-292).

CHRISTIANITY

Father, Son and Holy Spirit are distinct persons within the on Triune Godhead.

MORMONISM

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three separate Gods (Teaching of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pg. 370; Mormon Doctrine, pg. 319 - 2nd Edition).

The whole "what is a real christian" thing can be tossed around for an eternity.

I think the simplest way is to look at it like you would being a "republican" or a "democrat." If you label yourself a "Christan" and follow the teachings of Christ, you're a Christian. To have some "better" Christian come along and say you're not "real" is just arrogant and ridiculous.

Sure, Mormons are Christians.

I have heard that there is only one other Church that gives the Mormon Church a run for it's money and that is the Catholic Church because it IS the one true Church that Jesus started. I have even heard Mormons stand right at my door and tell me "We just love to get our hands on Catholics" Now that is probably because (based on what I have gleaned from this site), because so many Catholics don't really understand what a treasure they have in their Church but, besides that fact the Mormons try to site all kinds of garbage about the Catholic Church's big apostasy and now they are nothing meanwhile they ignore Scripture (Maybe because they have conveniently made up their own) about "The gates of Hell shall not prevail against her". The Catholic Church is Holy because Jesus makes her holy. She is the bride of Christ. If your children sinned you would not divorce your wife would you? No you wouldn't --- so I do not know why people think Jesus would divorce his wife because his children sin.
