No offense but don't get a tatoo that someone else will like, you get what you want, if people around you don't like it then you don't need them or maybe you don't need a tatoo. Tatoo's are about individual expression... Get something that means something to you...

First ask them if it is ok to get a tatto... mine flipped out when i got one with his name and a rose, it was a suprise.
