Don't do any exercises that involve using your feet. You can still do crunches, pilates, pull ups, lift weights, etc.

In addition to weight training(while sitting), I would try the bike. It is non weight bearing. It may take a little longer to burn some calories and get used to the seat but at least it is an option! You can also do what is called a UBE- upper body ergometer. It is basically a bike for your arms and hands. You turn the cranks on either side. You can burn a decent amount of calories great cardio and upper body(arm) workout.

You should really take it easy until the swelling goes down. Keep a balanced diet and pick up on some weightlifting. Cardio isn't the only way to burn calories.
