This guy that I have a huge crush on, wants to talk to me but he's shy because my friends are always around. He tried twice already to talk to me, and he's so shy that so many people are around, he's that type of person. So my question is, do I say hi first to break the ice, so he feels comfortable?

yeah, it will show him that you care and like him too. saying hi can make a persons day so much better too.
guys like it when they dont always have to start the conversation.

ok nicely insted of exclaiming hi say this " Did you watch (regardless of) coach final evening" If she did start up a convo on the subject of the coach and then possibly ask "might you opt to get some ice cream after college" Ice creams a ordinary thank you to get to understand what typ of ice cream she likes and consult from her. tell her shes pleasing while the time is physically powerful. sturdy success :)!

Well, to proplerly "break the ice" you want to say "hi" but also ask a question that can't be answered with a simple yes or no.

Try to be alone sometimes when he is around, give him the chance to come and talk to you, or just say hi to him in the halls sometime!
