for girls, do any of you ever sit online(AIM or MSN) and just wait for a certain person to start talking to you? maybe a guy that you like but you dont wanna start the conversation

Never. I never waited around for a guy to contact me. Either he did or he didn't. If he didn't, his loss. But I'm not going to waste my time, sitting my a phone or on the computer just waiting for some guy to get in touch with me. I have better things to spend my time doing.

Well I go online for all sorts of reason. I don't necessarily wait for someone to talk to, however, if they happen by then that's cool, otherwise no. I don't see anything wrong either if a person logs on and wait for their friends to come along. Are you hung upon this sort of thing. You're probably one of those type of online yardies that are on but your status is always set to busy, away or some other *.*.*.* Be nice to your online friends!!!!

lol, yes I've done that before but not anymore. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Don't be afraid to initiate convo! They could be waiting on you to talk to them. If you're not sure what to talk about, then pretend like something exciting just happened and you couldn't wait to tell someone or just anything that interest them. Once you start, it'll get easier every day.

The guy I like does not come online that much. I message him though, starting convo. Sometimes, I wait to see if he messages me first to start convo...but I learned if you want something, you have to get it not sit around and wait for it to come to you....some girls may do that but they have to realize that sometimes guys want girls to show interest in them as vice versa. =]

Ok I noe , i noe I am a guy but ppl who have liked me ( even for the ppl that had crushes on me that i found out later) don't WAIT! Like you just go ahead and talk right . Just telling you that the girls who like me , naa never waited for me and that's nice or else the boy wud think yur IGNORING them!

Nope i talk to them right away! Just if there is someone you are scared to talk to, just act like there your BFFF!! They'll be more comfortable wiht you.
