If you opt to use your own insurance to cover the rental vehicle, you have identical coverage as if you were driving your own. Same benefits of your current coverage.

Your other alternative is to waive the right to use your insurance and purchase theirs which is close to $14 per day additional. If you use theirs, it's fully covered.

Good Luck!

No. If you are in a rental car... your collision coverage (if you had it) would cover damages to the rental ( you would still owe a deductible.) Your liability would still cover damages to other vehicles that you caused... but not the rental.
