There are too may good players out there but there's one that can play just about every formats there is : Window Media Classic. This is actually a very old version of window media player (open source now) and it has been improve since then. Doesn't need an installer and it just works. I believe Real player continues to have various forms of "spyware..adware..and/or malware" embedded in it:(..I mentioned all of those because everyone still has a slightly different take/definition in regards to the whole class of so called respecter's of ones PRIVACY!!..LOL..I got a little excited there:) But as for "the better choice of Media players..I think Windows 11 does quite nicely..even if I still believe it also "tracks ones surfing"..:(

1)windows media player11

others are good but these r the basic needs

my favorite is VLC, because it can play all my movie files without the need to install any codecs and.... its FREE
