Today my 11 year old daughter sent my exfiancee' (we split up a month ago) of 5 years a text message and ask him if he and I would get back together. His response was we will see what happens. He tells me all the time we will be together again as soon as he finds himself. At 40 shouldn't he have already found himself. I miss him and love him dearly and we had sex monday for the first time since we split up. when I got ready to leave he told me he loves me. I'm confused and afraid I am reading more into this than I should. any advice would be great

He's looking to see if he can find somebody better.
His guess, I think, is that he WON'T find somebody better, and will wind up back with you.
