we just started talking again after a few years of not being able to because he had moved away for college. we broke up bc of a really silly situation. but ive never gotten over him, hes the most amazing guy ever.

Ask him in a little more detail than you should about his love life, availability, etc. If he asks why you're pushing, tell him that it's a subject of considerable interest to you.
And don't push ANY more than that, unless it's a tiny amount to suggest a specific get-together because he's seemingly dumped that move into your lap.

I'd test the water and see if he likes me first. You don't want to make it all awkward straight away.
