Well when I got pregnant years ago I started taking prenatal multi vitamins. They're not as strong as other types of mutli-vitamins but I've heard from many women that they are good to take even when you are not pregnant. I've also heard a few women swear that they help make their hair grow faster. I don't know about that one, but if you are being healthy your hair should grow faster either way. Since osteoporosis is very common in middle to late aged women I drink lots of milk, and when I don't I take a calcium vitamin that also has vitamin D combined. The vitamin D in the calcium is the best way for your body to absorb the calcium. I'm also trying to drink more tea, people who drink more tea take in more antioxidants, which help prevent getting little colds and stuff. Hope this helps!

For women up to age 40 you should be taking a multi-vitamin for women, 250 mgs. of calcium twice a day, 1000 IU of omega 3 (fish oil - available in pill form) and 1,000 IU of vitamin D3. Women over 40 should add a baby aspirin (really equals 1/2 of a regular aspirin).

A multi-vitamin is very good for anyone. Best to check with your doctor. I just discovered the world of herbal supplements, you can find them at Walmart in the Vitamin section. Depending on your health issues, get a book at Barnes and Noble and start researching vitamins and herbs...then always talk to your doctor to get their ok to make sure they are right for you and will not interfere with any medications your on. Lots of good information out there on the net.

this is kinda gonna sound retarted but i take children's flintstones, well it's also for adults and some of them have iron included for people that are anemic or just need some iron. For me it doesn't appear to help but i know it's working or i would be really weak beacuse as you probably already know vitamins help your body in many ways. If you want to build strong teeth and bones take vitamin A and B.

Flintstones vitamins are the best they have been tested and retested and if they recommend them for children to take daily they can in no way be harmful for you. I take 1 on regular days and on days I compete I take one right before the competition. to make sure I have all the chemicals needed to maximize my body's chemical efficiency.
