I am looking for a minister/pastor to do an outdoor wedding in chicago?

Question

The catholic priests will not perform a wedding outdoors. Does anyone know where I can find a clery/minister/pastor that would be willing to do this?

To find an officiant type into Yahoo your city, state & wedding officiant (no 's' on the end) You will have a few to choose from, usually on the 2nd page. The larger bridal sites seem to get top biling. If you do go to the bridal sites, please visit the site of someone you think you might like. Those bridal sitems make vendors & officiants pay for youe contact info so you may not hear back from someone you'd hoped.

I too am having an outdoor ceremony in chicagoland. What I did was ask my venue if they had any recommendations of officiants they had worked with in the past. One name that keeps coming up for me is Jim Riehnberg (sp?), "the Original Rent-A-Rev". I know it sounds cheesy but people see to like him. I have also been to several wedding shows that have officiants there for you to talk with. My best suggestion is use the other wedding vendors you have already chosen. They have worked with several officiants and my be able to push you in the right direction as to who will work well not just for you but also the other vendors for your ceremony!
